5/7 Guitar Zither "Valsonora"
A 5 chord guitar zither made by Valsonora, Germany 1920s-30s, it's the model "Lovely Music".
It has 5 sets of chords each with 7 strings (hence the 5/7) There are 21 melody strings.
It has got a bit of wear around the edges, not a surprise for an instrument 100 years old! But, the pins are not rusty, fairly tight in their holes and they do hold the note. No cracks or wood shrinkage front or back. And a lovely sound!
Dimension - 50cm x 42cm
Comes with a tuning key and will be tuned before leaving my workshop.
