Quite an old 5 Chord Guitar Zither but in good shape, pretty and very playable.
No makers name, the sound-hole ticket only says "American Guitar Zither".
Strings and pins in good condition, they do hold the note.
Structurally sound, there is a very slight crack on the top but does not affect the sound or strength of the instrument.
5 sets of bass and chord strings each with 4 strings. 21 melody strings. 41 strings in total.
Dimensions - 45cm x 34cm.
It still has its original 'tatty' box, comes with a tuning key and a few German songs!
Leaves my workshop tuned (slight 'tweaking' will be needed when it arrives!)
