Quite a rare Rapier 33 by Watkins/Wilson, made in England in a natural finish, rather than the bright red. Made beginning of the 1970s.
It has 3 pick-ups, hence the name 33, there is a selector switch for the pick-ups, 1 volume and 1 tone controls and a toggle switch for rhythm/solo - everything works fine.
The Wilson Rapiers had much beefier pickups than the early Watkins. They look the same externally but are much deeper set in the control cavity and have heavier magnets and coil windings.
The neck is straight, rosewood fret-board, frets are in good condition, zero fret, action is fairly low. Original tuners.
