5 Chord guitar zither made in Germany 1960s.
Very nice condition, tuning pins hold the note, strings in good condition, a few "scuffs" around the edges but there are no structural problems (as coming un-glued!).
It has 5 sets of chords, each with 4 strings, there are 21 melody strings. 41 strings in total.
This is the type of zither recommended by Etienne de Lavaulx as seen on Youtube.
It comes in a nice, sturdy wooden box, original instructions, tuning key, finger picks and 36 'partitions' (song sheets that are placed under the strings, where-by you can play, following the arrows!).
Dimensions are 50cm x 35cm. It weighs with the wooden case 5.2kg.
It will leave my workshop tuned. Let me know if you prefer the original tuning or I can tune it to Etienne's alternative tuning.
All my zithers have been verified to be playable instruments, restored, strings changed where necessary, verifying that it stays in tune.
