Herrnsdorf 8 string, lapsteel guitar from 1950s. Herrnsdorf were a company from Markneukirchen, E;Germany. Quite renowned for their electric guitars and lap-steels, they were taken over by the DDR Musima factory in the sixties. Quite a rare guitar and in very good condition.
Pearloid covered body. Original tuners. Single coil "Rellog" pick-up. 1 volume control and a tone switch. Everything works.
Originally had the "banana" 2 prong jack but has been adapted to use a normal 6.4mm guitar jack.
The bridge is not original but works fine.
It comes in its original hard-case and there is a tone bar included. New strings.
