Beautifully made mandolin by instrument maker Ivor Pickard, (Pickard Acoustics) Lincolnshire, England. May 1991. This was the 23rd mandolin he'd made! Dated and signed.
The top is European spruce.
Back, sides and neck - maple.
Fingerboard, machine head overlay and bridge - Ebony.
Inlays - mother of pearl. Herring bone purfling around body and sound-hole, bound fingerboard.
Schaller tuning keys. Nut and saddle - bone. Truss rod adjustable from inside the sound-hole.
Top quality mandolin, lovely sound. Comes with a hard-case.
