Hollow-body or slim-line electric guitar, Melodia 2 made by "Defil" in Poland. 1970s.
Interesting guitar based on a Gibson. It has 2 working pick-ups, selector switches and slide volume and tone? controls. Pick-ups sound very much like Teisco gold foil type pick-ups. The mechanics have been changed and are now decent Grover tuning keys. It doesn't have a truss rod but with its very chunky neck it doesn't really need one! Adjustable floating bridge. Bolt-on neck.
It has had the jack changed from a DIN to a 1/4" normal jack socket.
Comes with the original strap and gig-bag. All very seventies!
