An interesting "Mandolia" made in Germany 1950s. Trademark - Harpist!
A zither having 4 sets of chords each with 7 strings, giving a nice full, rich sound while playing the bass or chords. There are 15 double course melody strings that are played by tapping the buttons on top of the box. These operate a steel sprung hammer onto the strings giving a mandolin type of sound. It all works. Mechanism in good condition. Strings hold their notes.
The dimensions are - 55cm x 44cm and 13cm deep.
Comes with a tuning key and instructions on how to tune it.
I test and tune it before leaving my workshop.
