6/7 Guitar Zither

This is a 6 chord guitar zither with 7 strings for each chord, (hence 6/7) it has 25 melody strings, 67 strings in total.
Made in E.Germany DDR in the Musima factory, Markneukirchen, even though they are using the Hopf rose decal. Hopf left E.Germany when it became communist and all the instrument makers came under the collective state control. You were no longer allowed to use your family name on instruments!
A lovely sounding zither, full rich sound with its 7 strings per chord. Pins are a bit tarnished but not rusty and they all hold their note, strings are in good condition.
It will be tuned and tested before leaving my workshop.
Also delivered with a tuning key.
