A very old slide guitar "in working order".
What I know -
FD&H was a music publishers shop in London who started selling musical instruments in the 1930s.
I have seen one other on the internet so I know it wasn't home made. But don't know who actually made it! Maybe Selmer?
It has one of the first experimental magnetic pick-up, a big magnet with a coil which surprisingly works.
A volume and a tone control.
It now has a jack making it easier to plug into an amp'.
Can't work out what it's been painted with but pretty sure it would have been more of a golden colour.
The case is original.
Length - 78cm. width - 20cm
