A beautiful and very playable "Mandolinetta", a guitar shaped mandolin.
This was made by the luthier Ewald Glaesel in 1902.
Probably made in Saxony, Germany. Where his workshops were.
Or put together in the Manchester UK. luthiers school.
Sold through agents Wheatley & Mackenzie for the UK market, hence the English ticket inside.

Very good condition, the neck is straight, no warping, low action, frets excellent.
Tuning keys are original, good working order.
The bridge is new. Made by hand out of bone.
