Akkord or Chord zither made in East Germany by "Jubel-Tone" 1950/60s.
This is the mandolin zither because of the double course of melody strings.
It has 5 sets of chords each with 4 strings. (20 strings)
21 melody notes, doubled (42 strings). 62 strings in total.
This one has been about, not kept in its box! So not in perfect condition.
But is still playable. The strings have been cleaned and will be tuned before leaving my workshop.
Structurally sound, no cracks just wear in the varnish.
Comes with a tuning key but no case.
